Everyone can sing.
Seriously.
But maybe you want to be a great singer. (Hey, me too! It’s a lifelong journey, friend.)
Here’s what I know: the core of amazing musical theater performance lies at a messy, beautiful, exciting intersection . . .
THE YOU-NESS OF YOU
Your unique voice and perspective on the world
Your technique and training
Your access to imagination, freedom, and presence
GIVEN CIRCUMSTANCES
The scene and the story
The words and music you’ve been given
How you navigate the moment you’re in — both in the story and in reality
“I call myself a singer because of Casey.”
I've coached hundreds of students at all ages and experience levels for everything from final Broadway callbacks to their very first voice lesson. My students represent the hardest working and most in-demand performers on Broadway, national tours, and regional theater, as well as passionate amateurs.
I believe in "telling the truth on pitch", that singing should feel easy, and that everyone has it in them to be an artist.
Lessons with me include:
Learning solid vocal technique to support a lifetime of healthy and happy singing in all styles and genres.
Choosing audition material, arranging cuts, etc.
Making bold, honest acting choices.
And coaching the “whole person”: addressing nervous system activation, taking artistic risks, developing professionalism and resiliency, staying grounded—and keeping it fun!
I currently have extremely limited availability for new clients.
If you’re interested, drop me a line here and tell me about yourself!
